Addressing Downtown Parking Perception

One of the biggest perceived challenges for shopping in Downtown Greensburg is a lack of parking—but we are working to change this perception with our ongoing Parking Initiatives:

  1. Social Media Video Campaign – A five-video series titled "Think you know all the parking secrets in Greensburg?" showcases convenient and lesser-known parking options to make shopping downtown easier.
  2. “It Pays to Shop Downtown” Campaign – For Small Business Saturday, we provided to over 30 Downtown businesses a total of 40 envelopes per business.  Each envelope containing fifty cents and a thank-you note encouraging shoppers to return., The message: Here’s fifty cents toward your next visit!

These initiatives help improve the shopping experience and demonstrate that parking is more accessible than many believe!
