🐾 Greensburg Pet Ambassador Contest – 2025

Calling all proud pet parents in 15601!
We’re thrilled to launch the fourth annual Greensburg Pet Ambassador Contest, a community celebration spotlighting the cats and dogs that bring so much joy to our lives. This fun, friendly competition will crown one special pet as the official ambassador of Greensburg from August 2025 through August 2026!

Does your furry friend have what it takes to represent Greensburg? Nominate them online, spread the word, and let the community vote!

📅 Important Dates

• Nominations Open: July 25 – August 1 (Nominations closed)
  
• Finalists Announced: August 4 on our Facebook page
  
• Voting In-Person: August 7-9 at Downtown Greensburg businesses listed below 
• Winner Announced: August 22 at Summer Sounds in St. Clair Park (6:45 p.m.)

📝 How to Enter

• Open to cats and dogs living with their owners in zip code 15601
  
• Nominate your pet online between July 25 – August 1 (Nominations closed)
  
• $5 entry fee per pet (no purchase necessary)
  
• Finalists will be chosen by the Pet Ambassador Nomination Committee
  
• Finalists must attend:
  
  • Saturday, August 9 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
    
  • Friday, August 22 from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (Summer Sounds, St. Clair Park)

During the voting day, finalists will be hosted at local Downtown Greensburg businesses where the public can stop by, meet the pets, and cast votes.

All pets must remain leashed and well-behaved while in their assigned host location. By submitting a nomination, you grant permission for your pet to be featured in social and print media.

🗳️ Voting Details

August 7-9, 2025

• $1 = 1 vote — a portion of proceeds will benefit Top Dog Therapy.
  
• Voting takes place in person at participating Downtown Greensburg shops.
  
• Visit the shops, meet the finalists, and vote for your favorite!

Join us at Summer Sounds on Friday, August 22 at 6:45 p.m. in St. Clair Park, where we will announce the 2025 Pet Ambassador live on stage.
